No airport hardware found

From the stupid Mac tricks department: if you get the error in the title (i.e. wireless card not working),

1. power down,
   
2. take out your battery,
   
3. count "1 Steve Jobs, 2 Steve Jobs, 3 Steve Jobs",
   
4. reinsert battery,
   
5. power up,
   

and viola...voila, wireless will work.
